A concrete commitment to the environment
Sustainability is not just a buzzword, but a daily choice for Nuova General Plast, a company based in Carnago (VA) that has specialised in plastic materials moulding since 1975.
For over twenty years, the company has embraced a circular-economy approach, reusing production waste and turning it into new raw material for its products. This process helps reduce waste and give plastic a second life, while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
Photovoltaics and innovation for cleaner production
Environmental protection also depends on how energy is produced.
Since 2011, Nuova General Plast has operated a 60 kW photovoltaic system, which covers around 50% of the company’s energy needs.
The remaining energy comes entirely from renewable sources, confirming a constant commitment to reducing the environmental impact of production activities.
This choice is fully aligned with the company philosophy, which combines responsibility, innovation and competitiveness.
A family story looking to the future
The company is led by Christian Trabalza, second generation of the founding family, who carries on with passion the work started by his father Emilio.
With a close-knit team and increasingly advanced technologies, Nuova General Plast continues to grow, investing in state-of-the-art machinery and new sustainable projects.
The result is a company that combines tradition and future, proving that even in the plastics industry it is possible to make a difference through conscious choices.
