Consultancy on polymer selection is part of the Nuova General Plast service, provided by virtue of its in-depth know-how, qualified personnel and fruitful collaboration with suppliers.

Polymers are selected in the most suitable formulation for the application in question, starting from an evaluation of the polymer base followed by analysis of suitable reinforcers, fillers and functional additives, including: spheres, short and long glass fibres, mineral fillers, molybdenum disulfide, silicone, PTFE, carbon fibres, stainless steel fibres, graphite, magnets, phosphorus and anti-static, anti-UV and self-extinguishing agents, among others.

To ensure customers always get the best results, the polymer selection, management and transformation stages adhere to a technical-scientific approach: from analysis during the mould design stage, to the preparation of specific construction criteria, up to compliance with requirements concerning drying, dehumidification, post-conditioning, times/temperatures.
